Maida Smith has been doing full charge bookkeeping, financial oversight, budgeting, planning and reporting for a number of local businesses and individuals for over 25 years. Her experience includes many different kinds of businesses. As a consultant, she has helped people configure their financial statements, given financial and budget analysis and provided general business financial oversight. She has helped businesses hire bookkeepers and provided regular financial reporting. She has also helped businesses and individuals set up their QuickBooks to suit their individual needs as well as given ongoing support and training.
Sean Edwards
Sean Edwards has been on staff since October 2004 after attending UCSB and studying Accounting. He has earned rave reviews from all of our clients for his excellent work and attention to the individual details of each client as well as a strong understanding of the overall goals of each company or individual. His understanding of people has been especially helpful with clients who have accounts receivable or cash flow issues. Rehman Qadri
Rehman Qadri has a B.A. in Business Economics with emphasis in Accounting from UCSB. After graduating, he worked for Fidelity National Financial's main office in the accounting department for over two years. Over his tenure at Fidelity, he worked in the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the Fixed Assets departments. He left the corporate route and Jacksonville, FL and returned to Santa Barbara in 2006, where he joined Maida Smith Bookkeeping. He works in a quiet, focused and efficient manner watching over our clients' finances. Every single one of our clients has given him great reviews.
Jania Sager
Jania Sager joined us in October 2006. She is currently studying for her CPA, and provides her skills as a full charge bookkeeper. She is also an expert in accounts reconciliations and loves taking on the challenges of what she calls “number puzzles”. Before joining our team, she gained experience working for a local CPA firm for three years. We feel lucky that she has chosen to join us. She has proven to be consistent with keeping our clients smiling and their books balanced.
